How did M. Robinson Artwork get its name? The story behind the M. Robinson name is that Michael Holmes already had a style of art that was more figurative such as architecture, buildings and simple heart images.  But he wanted to create an abstract line of work and after several years of trying to come up with a unique style he developed the multi-step process to create his deconstructive paintings.  He needed a name for this style and since he makes these with his wife Mary Ann the name starts with the letter M for Michael and Mary Ann.  The second part of the name comes from Michael middle name Robinson.  His second name just as the style was his second style of art.  M. Robinson Artworks.
